Set up basic information in Administration Portal

1. In the Administration Portal menu, select SYSTEM > Statistics Settings

2. In Host, enter the hostname for the SQL server that hosts ZyStatDB, for example, WinAppServer

3. In Port, enter 1433

4. Leave the Instance field blank

5. In Username, enter ZyUser

   For security reasons, don’t use the sa account (user name: sa).

6. In Password, enter the password for MSSQL user ZyUser

7. In DB Name, enter ZyStatDB

8. Click Save

9. Click Test

10. In the message: Connection successfully established to: <WinAppServer> - database version: <version number>, verify that version is not 0.0.0.0

1. In the Administration Portal menu, select INSTALL > Database Connection

2. Click Rewrite Config and OK

3. In the Administration Portal menu, select SYSTEM > Interface Configuration

   Fill out the following fields:

   • Queue Manager Address: Example: WinAppServer

   • Service Manager Address: Example: WinAppServer

   • Zylinc Client Manager URL: Example: http://WinAppServer:8080/ClientManager/

   • Zylinc Client Manager URL > LAN: 35034

     Leave the neighboring WAN field unchanged.

   • Authentication Server URL: Example: http://WinAppServer:8080/Authentication/

   • Administration Portal URL: Example: http://MediaServer:8080/zylinc-admin/

   • Statistics Portal URL: Example: http://WinAppServer:8081/StatisticsPortal/

   • Wallboard URL: Example: http://WinAppServer:8081/ZyDataService/

   • Help URL: https://help.zylinc.com

   You can copy the examples to Notepad and replace the server names with the ones that you use.

4. Next to Authentication Server URL, select Use Zylinc AuthServer.

5. Click Save

   If you see an error message, click your browsers back button, and make sure you have carried out step 4.

6. At the top of the page, you should see this message: Interfaces successfully updated.

If your organization doesn’t want to allow users to edit the phone book, you can skip this step.

1. In the Administration Portal menu, select CLIENTS > Directory Management

2. Select all relevant check boxes in both the top and bottom part of the page

3. Click Save

1. In the Administration Portal menu, select SYSTEM > ID Lookup

2. In ID/Phonebook Service URL, enter a URL similar to http://<WinAppServer>:8080/ZyCoreID/numberinfo

   Example: http://WinAppServer:8080/ZyCoreID/numberinfo

3. In the ID Lookup - Internal section's Type menu, select Zylinc User Database

4. Click Save

1. In the Administration Portal menu, select CLIENTS > Absence Templates

2. Click the Add Default Templates link

3. Click Save

4. In the Administration Portal menu, select CLIENTS > Appointment Categories

5. Click the Add Defaults link

6. Click Save
